So, what's the scoop ???

Hey,

I've been out of the "loop" for a while and was wondering if any of the diehards
out there can fill me in on the latest about the new album and possible tour dates.
I read an article by Jeff a while back where he talked about touring the southern USA.

A recent article hinted at playing shows where they've not played before ( Alaska , Iceland )
There also seems to be a rumor going around about the boys opening for U2 in the fall.

Any scoop on the new album and tour info would be awesome !

    the scoop is: no set date for the new album... no set date for any tour plans (one usually follows the other) the re-release of 10 happens in the next 2 weeks. that's about it... beyond that, i reccomend trolling this board for posts, but there has been no word from PJ when the new album drops....

    never seen this before, from what i can tell most of it is true. Mainly advertisement stuff. Only thing I can see that isn't true is the College street stencil teaser that was supposed to happen in Feb.

    I guess we should watch for a tenpuzzle game soon, and for promotional displays in stores like quicksilver, urban outfitters, etc...
    Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

    The puzzle game is already out. If you visit that web site you'll find it.

    You should at least wait for "With Or Without You" and "Where The Street Has No Name", and maybe "New Year's Day" if they play that! ;)

    Being new to these boards, I've wondered the same thing ... There is plenty of U2 (and Dave Matthews) haters out here ... which I find strange (but don't really care much either - live and let live and all) ... I just hope they don't open for U2 because the tickets will cost a damn fortune and will be (even more) impossible to get. But seeing PJ and U2 in one night would be cool if they both play full sets (and if I could afford tickets - which I doubt).
