On my itunes when "something in the way" pops up it has / and Bracket that says [hidden track]. However, it only plays something in the way. Is that just a misprint?

Thanks, all help is appreciated. Rock on all!

No, it's not a misprint. I have the Nevermind picture disc vinyl an there is another 6 min song after Something in the Way. Never heard it before. Must have been added during a re-issue or something. More Kurt screaming over his guitar, but still worth a listen.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Cool. Many thanks for the info. I just noticed that today. It looks like the itunes verson is the same as mine cause the time length is the same like 3:51. I guess they may have put the hidden track on the first couple of pressings of nevermind. I got my copy back in 93 or early 94.

    Thanks again. :D

  • The hidden track was actually put on the second pressing of Nevermind. The initial pressing was a small print run that sold quickly, to the entire world's suprise, and they added the hidden track to the second pressing.

my cd doesnt have endless, nameless but i got it on one of the singles from that album. its cool cause kurt smashes the guitar during the recording. i think its the only time ive been able to really hear a guitar get smashed cause its usually done live and there is so much other noise, thats distracting. here you can really listen to it.
  • "Endless, Nameless" is a pretty cool track actually. I would say that most versions of the "Nevermind" CD have it. Both of my CDs (including the MFSL version) have it. It is also available on the "Come As You Are" CD Single.

Not quite. Some people who bought early copies got the bonus track and some people didn't. The most likely scenario based on the evidence is that they added/removed the hidden track randomly thoughout the years, just to fuck with people. The only way to be sure you'll be getting the bonus track is to play the disc! (Or buy the MFSL.)

Or buy it used and look at the disc before you buy it to see if it has the extra ring.
