Joined in '99 or thereabouts. After paying like $250 for a pair of tix to a ticket agency for the '98 tour. Figured it would be a good deal. First show was the Merriwether Post Pavilion in '96 when you had to mail in the money order etc, when the TM debacle was going on... But I digress...all was good until the lottery system reared it's (ugly) random head.

Never joined back in the day. Wasn't the fan club called something different? I thought it was called "health club" during Vitalogy?

Yup Vitalogy Health Club. No real major reason to join back then...all the shows were GA.

Only perk was a newsletter and the single. And Seattle's 1 fan club only No Code premiere show at the Showbox in 1996.

Thanks. I thought it changed over the first few albums. 10C is a nice fit now.

With 10C recently revealing there are only 200,000 active membership accounts, it would definitely be interesting to know which numbers have expired/been retired.

    When/where did they announce this?

    BTW, I am still 124xxx.

    41 (that can't be right) :?
    154,000 is my number
    Here's my little story...
To my recollection in the years 91 to 95 seeing Pearl Jam live living in Western PA was pretty much only a dream. I remember hearing a live show on the radio back then and was going nuts looking for a blank tape...I did record some of that show. I have the tape but no way to listen to it and I don't know what show it was. Anyone know?

So my old good buddy tells me he has an extra ticket to the 96 DC show at Merriweather. I met his buddies at the show who all were fan club members and they told me about the ticket deal. BTW I snuck my way up to the front with my lawn tickets. I have lots of memories of that concert.

So 98 rolls around. The tour is announced and I got my fan club app in asap. I bought my tickets by sending in a paper listing the shows with a money order that was sent to me after joining up. Me and my bud met up with his buddies and we had a great time.

The next time I saw those dudes was at a Pearl Jam show I think 2000 but I'm not sure. Here's the punchline...they all let their memberships lapse. The disappointment was palatable.

154000 has been a good number. I had ok seats but I've had great seats and I got row one at the Key Arena on Mike's side and they put my mother fuckin picture on the back of the 20 book!
    I found my place......and it's alright

I'm definitely not in the earliest, lowest number range but I'm for sure not complaining about most all of the seats I've scored so far. Let's see how the lottery works as I'm going for some of the smaller market shows in Charlottesville and Charlotte and unsure yet if I "lock" in GA or reserved as top choices.
