Depends on what rate the audio was ripped at.

If you're going to store it in mp3 it depends how high you make the bitrate. Or are you going to leave it as .wav files or you could compress to flac as well.

    it'd be a lot :)

  • it's around 45 GB's...i recently got a hold of all of the boots on MP3 format and it upped my itunes library by about 5500 (a guesstimate, i don't remember how many PJ songs i had prior to me gaining these MP3) and when i narrowed down my library to just PJ, it said 43.02 GB...and i still have 4 discs, each with about 16 concerts in them to import into itunes...so the guestimate is around 45 GB...so an 80 gig ipod should hold all of that plus the studios, the new re-release, the b-sides and rarities that didn't make it on Lost Dogs and maybe some side projects (i.e. brad)...it can be your official PJ ipod...THE PJPOD!

EDIT: i miss understood...i thought you were just referring to the boots...the boots are around 45 maybe 50...but my whole shpiel about fitting EVERYTHING on an 80 gig ipod is still a safe bet...you might even be able to fit the official music videos

one bootleg encoded to audio bit rate at 256 kb/s is cca. 230 MB. 100 bootlegs means 23 GB.
