Almost a year now since I snatched up my tickets for both shows at the Garden. The concerts came and were over like that :( They were amazing, and they were two emotional nights, one reason was because after listening to them every day for the last few years and connecting with the lyrics, and FINALLY being in the same room two nights in a row.. it was just overwhelming. Ever since then I read about how many shows this poster went to, and I just get like.. depressed lol. I wish so BAD I could have went to a show in 2000 when I was 10, and years after. I need to see this band, and they need to do shows in or around New York.. I need my PJ live fix. March 26th will be exactly 9 months since I have been sober from PJ'ism .. and I need to start it again lol. Im just worried, with no job.. if and when the time comes.. I will be able to buy tickets, to not only multiple shows.. but A SINGLE SHOW. :( I just hope everything falls into place, and I will be able to see the band, be one with the PJ family again.

Lately listening to boots, it's this uneasy feeling, like.. I KNOW that there will be a full fledged tour REAL soon.. but my mind isn't letting me think that it will happen, like Im never going to see them again due to some issue.. AND I HATE THAT!!!

Someone, anyone, just tell me "It's ok....... it's okaaaaa-aaaayyyyy."

These are feelings that are hard to fight... I know them well... This song always helps though, the lyrics are almost like me singing to Pearl Jam themselves... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67Fb8XbpWMM

So glad I don't get this way until a week or so before the show I'm going to. If they're not around me, then it's whatever. Good luck with your withdrawal symptoms :D

Don't feel bad bro. I have been a fan since 91 and never had enough $$ to go to a show in the 90's. My buddy who got me into them had tickets to the Mansfield show in 98 but I had a HS football game that night and couldn't go. I joined the military in 2000 and was in bootcamp/school the ENTIRE Binaural tour. I came home Nov 9, 2000, 3 days after the last Seattle show. I was deployed during the ENTIRE Riot Act tour. I returned home to the states on July 18, 2003. I finally got to see them in 2004 in Boston before the VFC tour, was on vacation in 06 when they came to town and got to see em the 2nd time in 2008. They will always play somewhere in NY so keep your head up. I can smell a tour coming real soon.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

I feel the same way, after seeing them both nights in MSG, I started a savings exclusively for pearl jam's next east coast run through. I hope to see as many shows as I can afford/travel to. I didn't really know much about posters until I waited and shoved with everyone and managed to get my hands on a MSG2 Poster. I didn't know sought after they would become :o
