not quite, i think his idea included a place the served nothing but peanut butter and jelly - PB and J's - and a place where you made your own pizza. forgot to say the article is seven pages long also, but it's a nice read.

Very cool concept and it seems like most have been successful. :) I like it when people think outside the box! ;)
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."

    It's a great idea.

We went to a lovely restaurant in Edinburgh where you pay what you think the meal was worth. Fantastic food.
  • That's an absolutely brilliant idea.

It's equality at it's finest.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

So i could pay 10p for a meal and it would be okay?

Surely there are a limited amount of people who can work in the restaurant too. And i doubt everyone has professional culinary skills to help out, i guess you work as a waiter or cleaner or something.

    good idea! :D
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

This is a good idea. Marketers are trying new things.

I saw a episode of Nightline and they did a piece about "Breastaurants" and how successful those theme restaurants have become because of the economic crisis. There are more like those and not just Hooters, but most are regional operated though.

last night on the food network, they featured a place that sells only pb&j and the owners said they got the idea from seinfeld:) apparently business is great and there is even a sandwich named after the show!
i've been in my mind, it's such a fine line...
