Can anyone tell me I'm wrong by using a good argument?

i just finished a discussion with my best friend about the beatles. i've never understood why everyone thinks their music is the best thing since moving pictures with sound? it's not like i think they're fucking garbage; i just think that they're music is just regular pop music, and with the music at the time i think there was better pop music than the beatles. and don't go there with the sgt. peppers argument.
