Assuming 2016 they will be inducted (that's 25 years after the release of Ten), who do you think would introduce the band ? Tim Robbins ? Sean Penn ? Bruce Springsteen ? Neil Young ?

what do you all think ?

It's got to be Neil Young, the bond between Neil and the guys in Pearl Jam has been something special since the early '90s when Neil took Pearl Jam under his wing during their ascent to rock stardom..

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

    Kings of Leon.

Do you think they will invite Dave Krusen, Jack Irons and Dave A. to the induction or will they just do it with Matt Cameron?

  • While I agree that Neil Young or Pete Townshend would be excellent choices for sure, generally, bands or artists are inducted by a band or artist that THEY influenced, not a band or artist that influenced THEM. Or at least a contemporary. While it's not always the case, it seems to be about 80 % of the time. I would have to vote for Kings of Leon(especially if they are as huge at the time as I think they will be), or My Morning Jacket. It could even be someone like Chris Cornell, or Dave Grohl who was around when they really blew up.

Although, I do think Ed inducting Neil, and Neil inducting PJ would make for quite an amazing moment in music history...

    Smoosh!

They wont get in the 1st year of eligibility.Nirvana will, but not PJ.
There are tons of bands that are still trying to get in to that shithole of a club.
No Rush? No Alice Cooper? No Kiss? Those bands all deserve to be in there before alot of
the other bands that have been put in there.Grandmaster Flash-Fuck them!!! RUN-DMC -Fuck em!

PJ will eventually get in there though.

Don't they usually get someone younger though? If that's the case, I guess Jim James or Caleb would be great :)

i think they will invite all of them there and have all of them play with them. they owe it to us and more so those 4 drummers help make pj what it was.
