    Here, I can do a masters in 'The Beatles'...

    Born - Liverpool, England.
    Members - John Lennon (Popular Beatle), George Harrison (Sane Beatle), Paul McCartney (Greedy Beatle) and Ringo Starr (Name-change-to-make-more-interesting/AKA Baby Beatle)
    Songs - Catchy, possible drug references. Majority composed and arranged by George Martin - The only classically trained musician in the mix.
    Fans - ranging from screaming girls to erm... screaming girls in the early days. Modern fans tend to be older men, insistant that the Beatles were 'revolutionary' and certainly not that annoying youth 'pop' music.
    Controversy - tisk tisk tisk... Lennon said they were bigger than Jesus... that pissed of a few Christians. Beatles records went 'melty melty poof!' in bonfires and Lennon apologised.
    More controversy - two words: YOKO and ONO
    The Beatles now - Lennon shot dead by crazy fan in 1980, McCartney still greedy and self righteous, George Harrison dies of cancer in 2002 leaving over £100 million in his will, Ringo Starr voices Thomas The Tank Engine then disppears into oblivion... Money still ticking over nicely into bank accounts.

    Oooohh I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way about McCartney. I can't stand the man... even something about his face makes me just wanna punch him :oops: and I ain't a violent person. :mrgreen:

    I feel exactly the same. He's always grated on me... him and that Heather Mills bint. I just think he's a greedy self righteous knob jockey that holds his own self importance higher than anything. I put him in the ranks alongside Bono.

    I know he does a lot of charity work and work for animals but so what? With his money he bloody should give something back! Besides, stars like Elton John and Michael Stipe also do a hell of a lot of charity work but they don't shout about it at every given opportunity.
