This is the eleventy millionth post about this but I need to release some depression and tension. I am in need of a tweet. There has got to be something in the works for this year, even if it is just a couple shows. What I don't get is how they have revamped this entire site and are dropping a remix of one of the biggest albums in history and we got nothing so far! Not one show? Seriously do any of you really think Ten will drop without one show? Give a girl something to look forward to ok? If you say it's ok, I'll say it's ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody get's depressed! It's the human condition! The band members are like me & you! Both have lives, families, things to take care of! Just waiting for the right moment to shine! They did a mini tour in '08, Ed played a dozen show's on his own in the Weast Coast & East Coast of '08. We're only in 3 months of '09! In time, new music & new tour will excite our souls once again. Just give it more time! I'm with you on the same boat.

    I say it's ok! :)

I know, I know, I know. I just was born without the grace of patience. I have ADHD and need to plan plan plan. I just hate the not knowing. I am one of those people who can't stand knowing there is a surprise waiting. Just flipping out and being mental becuase sometimes I can't properly channel my energy. If there aren't a jillion things going on at once I start getting jittery. Need to write a book.

It'd be cool if they played a TEN show at some small club in Seattle on the day the Reissue drops without letting anyone know of course. Not that I live in Seattle or anywhere near but I still think it'd be cool. Those Seattlites totally deserve something like that :D

    This place is available :D

Or another Easy Street in-store experience would be sweet! ;)
  • as much as i love the band and going to shows...there are much more important things going on in the world and this country that need/require/deserve our attention and energies more than Pearl Jam...like the continuing loss of our freedom under the fraud Obama.

yeah call me crazy..but i think freedom is more important than anything!

and at the rate we are headed toward a depression..most of us may not be able to afford a concert ticket 8 months from now...not that there would be any touring anyway(when the economy really tanks)

you can tell me to fuck off to the moving train but this shit is to important to confine!

It doesn't make it any less important if you discussed it under Moving Train.

Of course all of the horrible things going on in the world right now are very important. This for me makes touring even more important. It's a chance to let everything out both good and bad. For me it's a complete cleanse.

I agree that a show is the perfect release during tough times.

Why not go see some smaller bands play for $10 or $20? Due to lack of transportation I'm VERY rarely able to make it to the city to see a show, but if I had the chance I'd be seeing a band play every week. Why wait around for Pearl Jam to go on tour and charge big money for tickets? Give your money to the musicians who really need it and see one PJ show when the time comes.

Just a thought - maybe this is something you do already. :)

I am still waiting but things look a bit better. Someone convinced me to make a trip to Seattle at the end of April. That will cure the blues for a bit but not the friggin' waiting anxiety.

When I was in high school my world revolved around Pearl Jam. At the time I couldn't imagine a fan more obsessed than me. I was sooooo wrong. You people make me feel good about myself! ;)
