    i went in and bought my second ever lottery ticket a few minutes ago. (i bought my first last week) the lady that was working said that there was "no point in me spendin' my cash 'cause she was gonna win the whole shebang an buy herself a new, shiny-as-the-sun car!"

    the strange part..... she was serious and full of conviction. she genuinely looked upset that i was buying a ticket. the look on her face said "how dare you?!?!?!"

    only in Texas.

    That's crazy that you used a Detroit paper to reference that though. Only crazy because I grew up with that paper.
