That's cool - if not 15 plus years old.

I was lucky enough to see Blind Melon one time when they opened up for Lenny Kravitz - I think like the year Shanon died.

Laughs, I didn't hear about that. I actually saw the show at the Armory Auditorium in Salem, OR. What a sweet place for a show.

I saw them in Woodstock 94 and had tickets for the 95 tour but then Shannon died that October, one of the saddest days of my life

No way, you were at woodstock 94!?

Watched that show soo many times, Shannon wearing his funny white dress and then eventually throwing the bongos into the crowd!

i saw them last year after the new album came out. not sure if you have heard the new singer or not but he's not bad. they played at a real small venue in lexington, ky and rocked it out. didn't get to see them with shannon but i've always loved them. i like the new album, not the same but he sounds a lot like shannon sometimes. i don't think he tries to, just has a similar sound.

Man, I love that show. I think that was one of the greatest performances ever. I mean he was so into it, so into what was happening right there, and he sounded great. The copy I have, they cut away right before he goes into the main part of I Wonder... then come back at the next song I believe. does yours do that too?

Yeah, I saw them I guess almost 2 years ago when they first starting touring with him. I enjoyed it a ton. Wish I could have seen Shannon. Anyways, I guess the new guy Travis ended up being a bit of a dick.... the band said they had conflicting interests. So Blind Melon is looking for a new front man.
