It doesn't get much better than work telling you that you can't come in and that they will pay you for taking the day off...

my back is so stiff. this snow is making my arthritis act up.

yesterday, evenflow was on the radio and I was dancing. my doctor told me NO DANCING b/c of my bad back.
how can one not dance to a pj song? my doctor is going to be pissed when he finds out I was dancing. I think I need an MRI on my lower back.

it is still flurrying where I live, in the sticks.

just got home.. plowed since 10pm last night, little tired

If you have a DRIVEWAY please park in it when it snows, it makes our jobs that much easier and also gives you less to shovel. And if don't try to get with your neighbors, clear one side of the street of cars, we will come down and plow it to the curb line. Then move your cars back to the other side so we can do that again. If not, you will be plowed in. Thank you for your cooperation.
Thats a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?

I agree, however most offices are selfish in the fact that if you have scheduled time off and the office closes, you are out of luck. :(

I can't go to work b/c my bad back is so stiff and my driveway is icy. My husband already left. It's hell being old.

Sure was. It was nice to get some cool clean air passing through the house. I had the top off the Jeep Saturday and went for a near perfect ride.
