2008 XMAS Single?!?!?

I haven't read any posts in a couple of months and I'm sure that this issue has been addressed already, but has anyone heard anything about 2008 XMAS singles? As in, what are the tracks? And when the fuck are they coming? Pearl Jam better not side step giving us XMAS singles while blaming it on this recession. I'll be very pissed and ask for my membership fees back if that's the case.

Settle down, no one has side stepped anything.

According to the last e-mail newsletter, it is finished and off to the presses. They have not said that it has shipped yet - but it is coming, should be here in March. No, they have not told us what the tracks are.

I think they said the X-mas single and new Deep will both be going out around that same time as the 10 re-release

first off, relax. not many bands give out an annual "gift" & there's really no point to getting all pissed off about it.

the latest info is that they are being packaged. as far as we know (from what we've been told in the emails), they are finished with the single.

no tracklisting has been given at this point.

they'll arrive when they are finished. that's when the fuck they are coming.

they never once blamed the recession for the delay. this is not the 1st time that they didn't arrive by Christmas, you know.

I just wanted to point out that I didn't but the "not many bands give out an annual "gift"". We do pay for it, its been included in the membership fees since the 10c began. So we're paying for it, its a not a free gift or anything.

true. but i think it's safe to say that 10c does more than most fan clubs in terms of information & tickets. it just seems like there's someone on here every week that feels the need to throw a fit for no reason whatsoever. there is a "search" button, you know?

Listen, I am just as big of a PJ as the rest of you so calm down, I am allowed to show my displeasure with the things they do just as much as the next person. Do you people think the guys just sit around eating Twinkies all day, and have time to spare? They're recording a new album, releasing an old album in many different ways, which means probably many decisions to help out with, and they mostly have families. I'm confident that when this thing is ready for us, it'll be shipped to us - and no later.

don't let the OP get under your skin. telling someone to search threads is helpful. i can also understand frustration with it, but then again i have to ask where the OP has been the last 4-5 years. it hasn't come on time in ages!
