Drowned Out

Haven't seen this, but...my impression from the trailer was of a bit of a propaganda piece...seemed pretty feel-good at first, moving on to the horrors suffered by the Americans in Iraq....the comments section kinda confirmed that (a bunch of military types thanking the brothers for bringing 'their' story to light).
Decided to see who the executive producers were (who funded the movie). Turned out to be Gary Sinise (who is a very vocal military supporter), and this guy:

This doesn't bode well for an impartial documentary I think the 'why' will be answered, (likely with innocent intent from the brothers), by a barrage of nationalist bullshit, and some slick, big-budget production that will have us weeping over an image of the flag at the end. Just a hunch.

when I was looking up the production team, I kept noticing the film being promoted as award-winning.
It won best film at the GI Film Festival, an event which also saw the Corporate Patriot Award go to Vince McMahon of WWE fame

I haven't seen it, so it's more background and speculation than viewpoint....I will probably check it out tho, thanks for the head's up
