Warner Theater in DC

Has anyone ever been to this venue? I've heard its the smallest venue on the tour, so is there really a BAD seat in the house? i'm just nervous because the best I could do from ticketmaster was upper balcony row RR. plus i'm bringing my girlfriend, it'll be her first time to a pearl jam/eddie vedder show! i want it to leave a good impression!

    it's a great venue. theres only some 1300 seats in the whole house. it will be a great show and im sure your seats will be fine.

    Many years ago, more than I care to admit lol, I went to lots of shows at the Warner. It is an old, magnificent theater. You will love it. Its like going to the movies in the old days....

    I'm wondering if I drive to DC on a weekend night if there will even be a slight possibilty for me to get a ticket. I know the other venues seemed to have a lot of scalpers with tickets available but it's the weekend and a smaller venue. I have always been able to get tickets usually for face or under face value for shows but I don't know if I should take the chance to drive all that way this time with this being Eddie in a small venue.

    I saw the Cramps & the Butthole Surfers there on New Years Eve, I want to say 1989. Saw Johnny Cash and bunches of others there too years ago. Its very small and cool. I'm going on Saturday and can't wait.

    I got tickets for Sunday. My friend took me to Camden 1. My first Pearl Jam Concert. I joined the Ten club the next day. He got shut out of tickets. Now I am taking him to D.C.

    Re: tickets- there are still about 130 tickets up on broker sites for Sunday's show, so I doubt anyone's going to have trouble getting some at the venue.

    Re: Warner Theater- I read on the website that during the 70's 'urban blight', the theater was used to show porno flicks. Ha!

    nice! maybe they'll play a little somethin somethin during intermission haha. but thanks everyone for the replies, can't wait to see this place!
