Brother track (on pj site) new recording?

On the pj home page... Brother is one of the newly remixed songs up for listening... I was wondering if it is possible to know just when the vocals were laid down for that track...I really like it... just trying to figure out if it is a new recording of an old song... because Eddie sounds great, but it doesn't sound exactly like early Eddie to me... and it seems to me that the lyrics are a bit modified from lyrics on the net ("little sister" is not used in the lyrics I have found online) I was kinda hoping its a new version.... just curious to know peoples thoughts.

    ya its a good question... the vocals have the aggressiveness of EARLY ED... but also seem a little more polished like Current ED! ha... so i am not sure either... great to hear it on the radio tho either way... had alot of friends callin me up the past couple weeks asking me about it.

    this topic has been discussed at great length here on the board... look in the second or third page of threads, you should find it.

    the general consensus, and my personal opinion, is that the lyrics are from an alternate take than what has been in the trader's circle previously. i don't believe they re-recorded vocals for this release anytime recently.. i could be way off base there though.
