Man arrested for walking along highway with deer head
EAST FISHKILL – Police have no explanation for it, but they have arrested a man for being a pedestrian along a controlled access highway after he was found to be walking with a dead deer head and leg. The man, identified as James Carlson, 19, of Hopewell Junction, was covered in red paint.
State Police at Troop T spotted Carlson around 11:30 a.m. Thursday walking in the median of the highway carrying the animal parts. They said he could give no reasonable explanation for walking out on the highway, carrying paint and the body parts.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of graffiti instruments and was issued an appearance ticket for East Fishkill Town Court.

Was it walking in the median with objects that others felt were disruptive? Last I heard, carrying dead deer parts, while rather disgusting, wasn't against the law.
I understand reporting strange behavior to the police and I guess his inability to explain what he was doing is odd but I really hope there is more to this than what the paper reported. At least, I have to think that there is more to this????
