So I've got my second interview with a major charity this afternoon... BUT I can't think of any good questions to ask at the end of the interview. Everything I need to know actually IS on the website and on the job spec they sent me. Please help me come up with something different, interesting and GREAT

I've to leave in an hour so any suggestions would be very welcome.

  • well if everything is on their website, is it imperitave that you ask a question? Gosh, usually i'm a snap at those tricky interview questions...well you could just say "no questions, thank you for considering me!"

    GOOD LUCK!

  • I have no idea what you could ask... Maybe some questions will arise in your mind when you're going through your interview...

thanks... again all that info is in the website... they've pages and pages of where they get their money, what they do with it, and the job spec was very clear and she spoke for about half an hour about what I'm expected to do.

Jammergirl, that's not bad advice. I could say something like 'well I spent hours looking at your website and it really is very informative and you've done a great job explaining what I'd have to do so I suppose all I need to know is when you're going to make your decision'

give them a sheet of paper and some pens and ask them to draw themselves and their life?

or... ask them if different political parties give less or more support? i.e. does a labour government actively invlve themselves with the charity... do the Tories? do the Green Party, etc etc etc

i'd go for the plain paper though...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

LMAO... only if they ask me stupid questions... I've got a notepad and pens in my bag... they may come in handy :D

mmm... that's not a bad question but is it a good idea to bring up politics in an interview?

  • well that went seriously well. It was the girl I'd be working with and our immediate boss just to see how we'd get along... more of an informal chat. And it was really nice... I chatted, told stories and asked questions as we went along and they covered everything I was gonna ask.. even by saying how lovely everyone is and how they love working there and how they wouldn't change a thing... so that kinda covered the 'what's your favourite part' question  It's between me and one other girl apparently   and the girl I'd be working with walked me out and said about the other girl and kinda rolled her eyes :) and said she really hopes to see me again :) so it all sounds positive. Apparently they won't be able to let me know til next week or even the week after cos there's all kinds of events coming up  so now I can focus on the move and it will give me time to settle into the new house :) ahhh, I really want this!

Thank you :) well in the first interview, the girl who'd be my immediate boss showed me into the room and we were waiting for HER boss to come in and just chatting about Ireland and stuff and she said 'I really like Irish people' so I knew then that it was mine to fuck up  so I just hope I haven't fucked up somehow... unless the other girl's Irish too.
