Can we agree that if one of us wins.....that person hires said band......Pearl Jam...and makes it a free show.I'll do it. :P
OMG! YES!! How badass would that be?! Of course, they probably wouldn't accept the money...or would in turn give it to a children's charity. hehehehehehehehe
This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper
i'm in a good spot here in delaware. we have the powerball here which is up to 172 million, so i got 5 for tonight.... then its only 10 minutes to MD, so today i rode over and got myself 5 megamillions for tuesday's drawing i'm gonna get'em both mwahahha
My favorite Pearl Jam song: "Corporate Greed Boat Asshole Behind a Counter in the Oval Office"
You only get $38k a year unless you pick the cash option, from what I understand.
That is incorrect. If you pick the annual payment option instead of the cash option, you will get $8,153,846 per year for 26 years. Before taxes of course and assuming the $212 million jackpot.
I have two pet peeves that are lottery related.....one is when people explain for a frickin hour all that they would do with the money if they ever won...people spend WAY too much time thinking about that! Then everyone feels like they should say what THEY would do. unless you're letting me know my cut, I don't give a fuck how you'd spend it.
The other is the people that wouldn't quit their jobs....'I'd be bored'. :?
How could you be bored with unlimited resources? I could spend the rest of my life on golf courses and strippers and not be bored....why would I want to sit at a desk for 9 hrs a day?
oh, and the asswipe checking 18000 old tickets at 6AM at the Sev when you're late and trying to get a cup o' coffee...hate him too
sorry, carry on

Didn't you just say it was all yours this last drawing? Or did you decide to just let it rollover to collect more?
i might even quit my job if i won that much..............
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
I'm willing to bet it's higher than that. I bet taxes on a sum like that are close to 50%. You get taxed 35% once you hit 6 figures.
If you live in a state with a state income tax, you could reach the 50% mark. Thankfully I do not. So, 39.6% would be what I would pay.
No shit? Figured it'd be higher... there must not be much separation after a certain point.
What state do you live in and how do they fund their budget?
Oh well.....now I don't have to worry about taxes!!!
Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
