I can't remember. If not he should be. My dream panel would be: a) Tim Robins, EdVed and Arianna Huffington b) Tim Robins, EdVed and Sean Penn

I have always hoped he would be. Maybe now that they are in LA he'll do it. Sean Penn and Tim Robbins have both been on. Bill Maher is the man

he'd be a great guest on that show. speaking of Bill Maher, i just watched "Religulous" & it was a lot better than i expected it to be! it's worth checking out, imo.

I love "Real Time", but I don't know how great Ed would be on the show. That's not a slam. It just seems that Ed's slow delivery may not work too well when two other panelists and the host are also trying to get their voice heard. Seems the loudest, quickest person usually gets to speak. By the time you do the opening monologue, "New Rules", the satellite interview, and Bill's little vignettes, it doesn't leave a whole lot of time for the panelists to speak... plus they hop from topic to topic sometimes without thoroughly discussing one. I think Maher does a pretty good job of allowing for equal time, but I just don't think that would be Eddie's strongest stage.

I'd rather see Eddie on with Charlie Rose one-on-one or Tavis Smiley on PBS.

funny because i watched it for my 2nd time last night. (then this thread starts) i saw it in the theater when it came out.
there's something wrong with me because i love Religulous and The Shack. they're almost like opposites.

Sure I’d love to see Ed on Real Time, but will he speak up? When Ed and Sean were on Charlie Rose, Ed didn’t say much.

I think Bill Maher is kind of an arrogant douche... just my two cents... even though I don't agree with the guy, I respect people's opinions, but I think he lacks any semblance of humility.. which I just find offputting... I think discourse is what is needed, not sarcasm and arrogance.

just my little two cent rant.

Don't forget that he is a comedian by trade. His last show was "Politically Incorrect".
