The first bands that go on sale I always have a hard time deciding because I’m thinking ‘what if so-and-so comes later on down the road? Should I save my money and wait?’

Last time Clapton came I invited my father. He was playing 4 hrs away from me. My dad totally dissed me and it made maters worse because that was the last time I spoke to him. That concert was the last ditch effort to have a relationship with him.
So next time Clapton came I promised myself I’d go.
Con- now it’s in DC which is 6 hrs away.
Pro- Steve Winwood is playing with him!
Con- $200 for two tickets I’m predicting

My guy wants to see Lamb of God. I’m been to two of their shows already, I’m not going to anymore! Lol. I told him I’d pay for his ticket if I he doesn’t beg me to go.

Faith No More might tour in the US. I want to see them.

I really don’t think pj will be in my part of the world until 2010 so I don’t have to worry about that.

What other bands are touring this summer?

This thread is one big whine. I know.
Should I get Clapton tickets?

if you've been wanting to see Clapton that bad, then you should get the tickets!! as for what comes later in the year, i have no idea. i know that i'm going to try to see Wilco at some point this year & they've already announced part of their tour.

i wouldn't rule out PJ this year, either. no--i don't have a source, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had a run in the Fall and another in the Spring. just my .02....

faith no more would be awesome---but they only have Europe plans at the moment, and they haven't said anything about the States yet.

i did....and it was really expensive (hollywood bowl) but i've never seen ec live and i saw stevie open for tom petty last year...also blind faith is one of my favorite albums ever so this may be the only time to see at least 2/3 of the band play :D

well i don't know jack either.
just seems to be a two year gap from when i see pj, that's all. 06 08, 98 00

wouldn't be crazy cool if every band touring that year posted their tour dates all on one day? 8-)
