With so many choices I was wondering what everyone plans on doing first? Listen to the Momma-son original cassette? one of the vinyls? a cd with the new tracks? the remastered? the remixed? DROP IN THE PARK?? AHHHH WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO?!?!?!?!

Me, I think I'll pop in the cassette first, then listen to the remixed vinyl while looking thru the other goodies

depends on what is going on the day that it arrives...if i am on the move, i'll probably grab the remix cd and rock that out. if i have some time to leisurely enjoy it right away, i'll probably start with drop in the park and look through the goodies.

I will sit in the middle of the room, surrounded with lit candles, pray to the lords above, start doing the safety dance, sacrifice a monkey, then start playing the congo's while opening up the box!

Wouldn't it be funny if they sign the celophane surrounding the box set, so you can never open it without destroying the signatures? ;)

So are you also telling me.....

That every single person i see on this board, who is selling their poster collection for 5x what they paid for it, is also not a TRUE PEARL JAM FAN???????

Because it seems to me, that there have been hundreds of people in the last few years who come on this board and FLIP their posters for a profit. Which of course is strictly against the 10club rules regarding posters.

The first thing I'll do is checking if mine is autographed.
After, I think I'll listen to a cd. My vinyl player is broken since last month (I have to replace the diamond) and I have no cassette player anymore. Well, I should replace the diamond of my turntable before I receive the box

That is correct! If you're only into Pearl Jam just to make profit out of them; to buy their stuff ONLY to sell to make 2 times + the profit; to promote & post on the official 10club board to sell your stuff for more then what you had paid for (to make profit out of it) & to sell these products on ebay (again, selling it more then what was payed for, to make more profit out of it), you're a total loser!

    To add ..

If it's for donations, charities, helping shelters etc.. with the money raised from selling the product more then what it costed, it's ok! Cause the money isn't going back to the seller, but to those non profit organizations, TO HELP!

  • I'll probably look at all the cool stuff in the box first...hopefully I'll have something with a signature on it!! I don't know if I'll listen to the vinyl or cds first...I'll really want to hear that 2000 Mile Blues song!!! Then I'll listen to the Momma-Son tape...can't wait to hear that. And yes I do have an old tape recorder laying around the house so I will be able to listen to that...I can also pop the tape into my dictaphone at work and put on my earphones and pretend I'm working all the while I'll be listening to the tape!
