Has anyone been to a show where PJ busted out a radiohead cover? To my knowledge, this has not happened yet...but I think it would be pretty sweet to hear Ed screaming "STOP WHISPERING.....START SHOUTING!!!" (probably my fav radiohead song.) Anyway, just curious if anyone knew of any radiohead covers by pearl jam. Thanks for any input. I look forward to the comments.

Yup. Creep. But you'll have to dig around on the old tubes of the internets. I believe it was (another) karaoke... I forget the name of the tapes. Not missing much though. :)

I think "Creep" was played on those sessions that float around the internet. And I think it was just Ed.

It was called the Birdman Sessions. Recorded in Miami in I think 2000, but this leaked and the band put a stomp on it.

One of my favorite radiohed songs.
  • I would like to see PJ bust out Paranoid Android.

I think Ed's tone would sound quite badass over those chords.

If I heard either of those, the pleasure would be so immense I'd never crave sex again.

just go to google and type in - "eddie vedder" creep - exactly like that. First link.

90% of the lyrics are wrong the way he's singing. He's basically improving the whole song.

I think the world may be better off with no Radiohead or Radiohead covers. I think anyone can buy some instruments, not tune them, and whine and croon through a PA over the music out of tune and in no particular chord progression and be a Radiohead ripoff or maybe evern greater than Radiohead. That isn't music, it is taking out your sexual frustrations via an amplifier. It is along the same lines as the rappers who just hook up a drum machine and start cussing. Just as creative.

Anyone that has heard The Bends, OK Computer, or In Rainbows would never make such a comment

Yeah, I agree....Not creative?? Well I would have to disagree with that statement, there is nothing ordinary about Radiohead.

I guess that you think no other band is creative just because you listen to PJ.

I love PJ and they are #1 in my book, but I'd even go ahead and say that Radiohead is more creative. They create songs with unusual structure (not like PJ novelty songs like Bugs), and they have songs like Paranoid Android which is like 7 minutes long with no chorus. I never really got into their ambient nose albums, but their most recent album and Ok Computer and The Bends and another album are really really freakin' good. For those who see them live, they may "get it" even more.
