Here in the Palm Beach Post in Florida today is an article on Economy Squeeze: More people choosing to turn their bodies into money-makers

Here's one guy from the article Adams, who has the rare blood type O negative, receives more than $600 per month for his plasma. He goes twice a month to get that $600.

    I didn't sell anything, but I took part in a lot of medical studies while in college. My cousin's fiance at the time was in med school at the same time I was in undergrad and he tipped me off on all the good medical studies that other med school people were doing. For example I made $300 once a month for 6 months playing rock paper scissors while in an mri machine that was monitoring my brain waves. I thought the experiment was really cool and I got some cool images of my brain activity. Some of my friends were not as fortunate to get into those studies and wound up selling bone marrow for $500 and from what I hear it's extremely painful to do that.

    I don't have a problem with people doing what they need to do to get by as long as its legal.

    I used to sell /donate plasma twice a week 1st visit $30 2nd $35 so 65 a week. It's been a few years since the last time I donated. At the time I was out of work but If I had to do it again I would.

    i donate plasma twice a week. i make around 275 bucks a months. a couple of pokes, not very painfull at all. get paid to read or surf the internet, not bad. it also really does save lives too, i try to think about it that way.

    Last time I gave blood two years ago I received 2 free tickets to Florida Marlins Opening Day to the 2007 season. I'd give blood again we have some pretty horrfic car accidents down here in Florida.

    I'd sell the lot right now, except the brain, as long as there were a proviso they'd keep it in storage until they could get it going again. I don't trust any of this uploading your brain onto our best computer for now shit. They have to keep the brain itself, and in good order.
