Seriously folks, I cannot hold this in any longer...

I NEED TO SEE ME SOME FUCKING PEARL JAM IN CONCERT!!!!!!! :o

I am jonesing so bad for it. I find myself day dreaming a lot lately about the day of a PJ concert. The excitement that builds up until that day, and the day itself. Where will it be near my hometown. Will we get some small club shows along with a couple arena shows? Will it be back at The Gorge? At which restaurant will I have dinner and drinks before the show? What bar will I head to after the show to let it all soak in?

I really need to get this shit under control considering that the new album isn't even finished yet, but I CAN'T HELP IT!!! It is coming up on 3 years since I have seen them at the Gorge in 2006. Something has got to give.


Anyone else share this anticipation?

    Don't worry, this is going to be a good year for Pearl Jam fans out west, no way they don't hit the west coast hard this year.

    you know i'd probably be ok if it weren't for ed's solo tour and then the vh1 honors....this band needs to tour very soon or i'm gonna start following nickleback :shock:

    I saw PJ in June but I can't wait to see them again! I'm really hoping they do some type of tour this year. IF they do play at the Spectrum...maybe...just maybe...they will make a stop in Boston since it is close. OR maybe I'll be lucky and get to see them in another part of the country...

    They havent played in seattle for like two or three years and i only started going to concerts at 14 so ive never seen them. im dying for a PJ show. I hope its this summer i mean i know the album isnt even done yet but ill keep hoping.

    You know it. If I had not caught one of Ed's West Seattle gigs last year, I would be going Postal at this point.

    i think they are going to do a tour of fan club members' front yards and only play three song sets conisting of dirty frank, whale song, and goat :lol:

    well, I saw them twice last year and saw Ed solo, and yet, I'm still jonesing for more. Never satisfied. :lol:

    and I have it on good authority that the Spectrum shows are definately going to happen, but I've been asked not to name my source

    this may be the year I make it out to Seattle too for some shows, I've been itching to go visit my friend out there, so we'll see

    I'm bursting with anticipation! :mrgreen: We even did a budget a couple of nights ago and it included transfers of money each month for a PJ tour... I'm so psyched, I swear, all i'm doing is thinking " :shock: PJ Euro tour, :shock: PJ Euro tour, :shock: PJ Euro tour, :shock: PJ Euro Tour..." It's like i'm brainwashed :mrgreen:

    The weather's a bit better here now, the sun's been shining and as stupid as this sounds, it's putting me in the tour mood :oops:
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    i missed out on them everytime growin up..got fed up with myself and saw them 3 times last summer plus ed solo..
    now i dont know what to do..should of never seen them cause next tour ill prob have to go to every show and lose my job or something

    Yes I'm ready to see them again, but not holding out high hopes for 09. You have to get into some other bands to fill in the gaps!

    Oh, I am into plenty of other bands, and see other concerts throughout the year. But, there is no band playing music today that can replace the experience of seeing Pearl jam in concert.
