“Hey man, you got a dollar? Some spare change? God bless you.” - weird.

2000 Mile Blues sounds incredible. I like his "If i haven't heard this, then you probably haven't either" line. He's right! I want to hear this song.

Just a Girl was on from the get-go. It is often just listed as "Girl" if that is what confused you...

Is that written by the same Clint who also writes for the Seattlest blog? There is a Clint that is always singing the praises of the band and their respective side projects on that blog. I think he posted on the old Pit under the name "Since '91" or something similar. Anyway if it is the same guy, that's awesome that he got this assignment -- he's obviously a big fan. Can't wait for the Ed interview in the March issue...

As for the TEN re-issue review, I'll quote EV in saying, "The waiting drove me mad..." :ugeek:

Thanks to you all for checking out the post at Sound's site. Glad you like it! I'm fortunate to have gotten an early listen to the reissues.

Bigeye, I am indeed the same Clint. With magazine assignments, I haven't had much time for Seattlest lately, but I do still cover all the PJ-related stuff I can for Sound. It's super-cool to know someone knows my work (and interest in the band)! Thanks for mentioning it. :)

As for the Vedder interview, it's a cover story--the cover plays off the art for the reissue. Should be on shelves on 3/1, maybe a day early at Easy Street and the like. Still cannot believe that I talked to the man (okay, one of the men) behind so much of my favorite music. What a great guy, too. Laughed a lot. For those who pick it up and give it a read, I hope you enjoy it. And thanks in advance!

That sounds pretty sweet. My only reservation is what is said about Alive... if the original solo is not present on either the remixed or remastered version, I maybe shouldn't be scrapping my old Ten just yet.

I thought that had to be the same Clint. Congrats, man! Always dug the shout-outs for all things Pearl Jam-related when surfing the Seattlest blog. That's cool you are busy at the mag and cooler still that you got to interview Ed! Can't wait to read it!

Thank you - I was kind of leaning that way...

and yes, it's a wonderful article!

"Wash" didn't sound like it was terribly "over produced" - fairly raw except for a little echo on the (bass?)....
