Change telling stories to making threads... then you'll have it. Humor is fine, this just isn't remotely funny because it's nonsensical. It's the intellectual equivalent of Tommy Boy saying "yours is the one with the shell on it!"

But it lacks any connection to the thread subject or any indication as to what circumstances would make someone a kool-aid drinker. It's not clear who the kool-aid drinkers are, what cause they support, why it is absurd, and why that makes them a kool-aid drinker. That's why it's not funny. It's like saying "people are stupid!" is somehow a joke. It's not. It needs context to make it funny.
