    I'm pretty sure there's one happening in NYC, but I don't have the details from the organizer yet :) And I'm not sure if there will be RockBand stuffs?

    I booked my hotel today at the Intercontinental {4.5 star hotel} on Michigan Ave. on hotwire.com for $115..I also purchased my amtrak train ticket today for $62 roundtrip from Alton,Il ->Chicago..I'm looking forward to the party etc..

    I've been having a hard time coming up w/hotel ideas (for group discount) since there really aren't very many in the direct area of the Ashland.

    Waiting on final confirmation, but GameStop will be donating RockBand hats & t-shirts and some other goodies :)

    I'm going to the Ashland tonight w/Maggie to suss the place out and work on final details!

    (and yeah, see if I can get Maggie to play some RB!)

    Maggie and I went to meet Adam from The Ashland last night. What a super COOL bunch of guys they are!!

    The bar sits right on the corner and has plenty of room both in front and out back for a lot of people. They were also getting their patio together while we were there as well. These guys were extremely nice and accomodating and the bar environment is very PJ fan friendly.. lots of posters, comic stuff, and just a general non-poseur vibe to it all. Really liked this place.

    They are working on trying to get a beer sponsor for the night as well as some extra special goodies from GameStop. They're also doing a $50 bar tab to the raffle! Woot!

    We ♥ them!

    Ok, ignore the hotel info above. They are a) renovating the Days Inn and b) the part that isn't under construction is booked solid.

    I am seriously thinking about coming. My husband even told me to go ahead and book the trip. Need to figure out if I want to spend the $$ to come or save for a tour. Decisions!!!!! :shock:
