I'm sure there was a thread for something like this on the old Pit, but I did a search an couldn't find anything
Found this one. The picture in the link is really gross  .

Snake bursts after gobbling gator
An unusual clash between a 6-foot (1.8m) alligator and a 13-foot (3.9m) python has left two of the deadliest predators dead in Florida's swamps.
The Burmese python tried to swallow its fearsome rival whole but then exploded.
The remains of the two giant reptiles were found by astonished rangers in the Everglades National Park.
The rangers say the find suggests that non-native Burmese pythons might even challenge alligators' leading position in the food chain in the swamps.
“ Clearly, if they can kill an alligator they can kill other species ”
Prof Frank Mazzotti
The python's remains were found with the victim's tail protruding from its burst midsection. The head of the python was missing.
"Encounters like that are almost never seen in the wild... And here we are," Frank Mazzotti, a University of Florida wildlife professor, was quoted as saying by the Associated Press news agency.
"They were probably evenly matched in size. If the python got a good grip on the alligator before the alligator got a good grip on him, he could win," Professor Mazzotti said.
He said the alligator may have clawed at the python's stomach, leading it to burst.
"Clearly, if they can kill an alligator they can kill other species," Prof Mazzotti said.
He said that there had been four known encounters between the two species in the past. In the other cases, the alligator won or the battle was an apparent draw.
Burmese pythons - many of whom have been dumped by their owners - have thrived in the wet and hot climate of Florida's swamps over the past 20 years.

SLeone police station turns into snakepit
Tue Jun 9, 4:21 PM
FREETOWN (AFP) - Law enforcers in Sierra Leone are used to slithering low life but the invasion of a police station by hundreds of hissing serpents has left even some of the toughest officers afraid to go to work.
An estimated 400 snakes, mostly cobras and vipers, have infested the station in the town of Gerihun in Sierra Leone's southern Bo district.
Residents also complain that they are too afraid of the snakes to go there to report crimes.
"(The snakes) have been in the... police station since January and despite fumigating exercises carried out by officials of the Ministry of Health, many of the reptiles have not been dislodged," Town Chief Momoh Fornah told AFP in a telephone interview.
The authorities are now looking to bring in army sharp-shooters to dispatch the unwelcome guests, he added.
Police officers at the station said the presence of the snakes had left many of them too afraid to work from their desks.
"We constantly hear hisses and weird sounds from the roof and we are always restless," said one police officer, who asked not to be identified.
COSMETIC SURGERY ADDICT INJECTED COOKING OIL INTO HER OWN FACE -
A Korean woman addicted to plastic surgery has been left unrecognisable after her obsession led her to inject cooking oil into her face.
Hang Mioku, now 48, had her first plastic surgery procedure when she was 28; hooked from the beginning she moved to Japan where she had further operations - mostly to her face.
Following operation after operation, her face was eventually left enlarged and disfigured, but she would still look at herself in the mirror and think she was beautiful.
Eventually the surgeons she visited refused to carry out any more work on her and one suggested that her obsession could be a sign of a psychological disorder.
When she returned home to Korea the surgery meant Hang's features had changed so much that her own parents didn't recognise her.
After realising that the girl with the grossly swollen face was indeed their daughter her horrified parents took her to a doctor. Once again the possibility that Hang had a mental disorder was raised and she started treatment.
However, this treatment was too expensive for her to keep up and she soon fell back into old ways.
Amazingly, she found a doctor who was willing to give her silicone injects and, what's more, he then gave her a syringe and silicone of her own so she could self-inject.
When her supply of silicone ran out Hang resorted to injecting cooking oil into her face.
Her face became so grotesquely large that she was called "standing fan" by children in her neighbourhood - due to her large face and small body.
As Hang's notoriety spread she was featured on Korean TV. Viewers seeing the report took mercy on her and sent in enough donations to enable her to have surgery to reduce the size of her face.
During the first procedure surgeons removed 60g of foreign substance from Hang's face and 200g from her neck.
After several other sessions her face was left greatly reduced but still scarred and disfigured.
And it would seem that even Hang can now see the damage she has done; she now says that she would simply like her original face back.
