There are some nuggets in this video.
Ron Paul saying that special interests and lobbyists got copies of the bail out bill, but congressmen and women did NOT get a copy;

talking about the pre-existing plans to sneak this shit in to bills,
just waiting (as Rahm Emanuel said, "never waste a good crisis") for a crisis to come a long
so they could shove it down our throats;

talking about how "this is a stimulus package for big government and nothing else",

and of course,
"THE AUDACITY OF CRAP!"

"CRAP ON TOP OF CRAP ON TOP OF CRAP!

If that's true, that's pretty fucked up. I find it hard to believe nobody in Congress was able to get a copy of the bill though. Which lobbyists got copies and how?

I don't think this is a stimulus package for big government, it's a stimulus for profiteering. High finance is going to make out like bandits with this crap. The government spending I am totally ok with... grants for road repairs and bridges and infrastructure and whatnot is good by me. That's government spending I approve. Now if we could only trim that military budget...

I'm one of those, 'Proof based upon fact is a difficult point to argue against'. I need to know how a Congressional Bill gets into the hands of lobbists... when it is drafted in CONGRESS.
And i agree.. it's like the Bank Stimulus... the banks kept the money, instead of lending it out. They shored up their bad assets and bought other banks to limit the competition. There needs to be government oversight. We have all witnessed what capitalism does when there are no rules... Greed rules.

And for the Military Budget... we need more C-17s. At least enough to get me to retirement.

Democrat or Republican, it seems not to matter. These politicians are beholden to corporations, lobbyists, and special interests. The citizens? What good is a bought-and-paid-for politician if there is a mob outside their office at the first sign of corruption? Hmmm,

If Congress doesn't understand the bill... then why did they vote on it? A no vote suggests you understand the bill as much as a yes vote. this is business as usual.. and even the Ron Paul whom I have alot of respect for has voted many times on bills he did not understand. That will continue when cowardly congressman don't demand to be included as the constitution say they should.

you are not included when you agree to vote on a bill you do not understand.
