Just made a Neil Young Favourites MP3...

Took me hours to listen to each album that I have and choose my favourites...here they are, all 47 songs:

I have included all songs from Rust Never Sleeps and Mirror Ball because they are great albums all the way through 8-)

    I've been on a huge Neil Young kick lately. That looks relatively close to what I might choose.

    great list. maybe a bit heavy on mirrorball (although i'm the ocean is my favorite neil song ever).

    i'd add:

    Falling From Above (Greendale)
    Big Time (Broken Arrow)
    Music Arcade (Broken Arrow)
    Revolution Blues (On the Beach)
    Cortez the Killer (Zuma)
    Harvest Moon (Harvest Moon)

    I got Harvest Moon in there lol (track 36)

    I haven't got Greendale, Broken Arrow albums.
    In time I will get them. The list is from what albums I have which are are mostly his 60's & 70's albums.
    I put all of Rust Never Sleeps and Mirror Ball on there.
    I put the songs in chronological order, from first album to latest I own.

    Two overlooked/underappreciated songs that are in my Top 5 Neil songs ever that aren't on there:

    Ambulance Blues (On the Beach).....THE Neil song
    Danger Bird (Zuma)

    There are so many songs it is very hard to include all. Neil is just toooo prolific :P

    i enjoy the list - but i would have a lot more from on the beach, after the goldrush, and harvest... personally I am not the biggest mirrorball fan nor rust never sleeps - i really enjoy those albums just enjoy the 3 i posted above more. Personal choice I guess

    I saw Neil young in vancouver late last year, was so unreal. What a guy! Btw I agree with Thoughts Arrive - way too many awesome tunes to really get em all in any shorter list! :)
