I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for recording software for my PC? Basically all I am looking for is something that is easy to navigate and record. It doesnt have to be free. The easier the better. I just want to create songs by laying down acoustic guitar tracks and then adding the vocals after. Thanks for all the help.

Audacity is very easy to use... and it's free.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
  • I agree, Audacity is great, easy and free.

If you're looking for something more robust, I like Ableton Live. But it has a bit of a learning curve.
