Not sure if there is many fans here but this is pretty special, Leonard Cohen is touring the US for the first time in 15 years!!

    I'm not a huge fan and I'm not in the US.....
    I like a lot of his music but it's not the kind of stuff I'd go and see live :roll:

    He has a great voice though ;)
    Everyday................is Pearl Jam Day.

    Except Sundays, that's Ed day.

  • if i am still around colorado i will hit up his show at red rocks. i hope to be in belize that month though. he is a bad ass! his voice will always remind me of the candyman.

    Last year saw the Cohen play here in Halifax! He played 5 nights at the Rebecca Cohen! Was able to catch 3 nights! It was just emotional & intense hearing him play those classics! He sure was given a golden voice! 74 and still singing strong! :D

    He is playing Coachella this year, as well as a show at the Nokia Theater in L.A.; top ticket price is $254....ouch!

    I recall purchasing the "I'm Your Fan" tribute cd in the early 90s that had the Pixies, REM and Nick Cave on it, so I heard their versions before I heard the originals.
