How many times do members say "shut up Stone" when recording

For some reason, I kinda just thought of Stone as "Donnie" from Big Lebowski. ...so, how many times does each member say it to him while recording an album? I'm guessing at least 18 times total, for the band.

    I think stone was put in his place during SVT when ed outed him as being the "problem".... but if I had to wager a guess, i would say no more then 8 times an album, with stone replying "dont tell me to shut up! I wrote and sang Mankind!" or "I was in Greenriver AND Mother Love Bone... what bands where you in? Oh yeah.... Bad Radio...? Thats what I thought!"

    then Ed would reply "yeah well my solo tour i sold out 5000+ seat venues in minutes and you couldn't even sell out a 3oo seat venue in weeks...so nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nahhhhhh :P "

    If Cameron were to say "shut up Stone", Stone would simply snipe back saying "Matt, there are fans who have seen more pearl jam shows than you've even played in".

    I think Stone is the secret mastermind and puts everyone else in their place. I think the whole Ed running the band thing is just a smokescreen so Stone can work his genius in peace. I'm sure when Ed acts up, Stone just says "Ed, you smoke too much these days and Scott Stapp's unemployed right now... sit down and keep quiet, I'm not Sean Penn."

    I've been told by someone who knows the people that lead the band are Ed and Jeff. If anyone is the "secret" leader of the group, it's Jeff.

    Under their breath or out loud? Cuz brother, those are usually two completely different things.

    Jeff probably tells him to "shut up" to his face all the time. You know, in that "Cliff. Move your van!" tone of voice.

    Somehow, this thread had me in stitches... hardest I've laughed at internet text in some time...

    In my mind, I like to think that it's a brilliantly even group effort filled with happiness and general tomfoolery...

    Of course, PJ is about the one thing in my life that I apply blind optimism to...
    If Adam and Eve had Taco Bell they would have never eaten that filthy fruit...

    I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Jeff and Stone are the real leaders in the studio. Eddie definitely shows it more on the road and in interviews, but that sort of goes with the whole front-man gig. I can just see them being more focused having worked together the longest
