How do they go about deciding who will be in this? Does anyone know how and when they announce the members?
Out of the Blue and Into the Black................Uncle Neil Philly 08 here I come!!!!

    I'm pretty sure the members don't get announced until they take the stage. I still would kill to have been there for the ?uestlove, Ben Harper, John Paul Jones set of Zeppelin tunes..

    I know in some previous years they have announced part of the superjam, usually within 2 weeks of the start date, but the final group of musicians doesn't come together until the festival starts.

    Last year I knew it was going to be Les, but not sure who else. I also knew it was Tom Waites songs about 1 month before Roo.

    Les Claypool, members of Gogol Bordello, and Kirk Hammett were AMAZING last year. After PJ, my second favorite set after PJ's.
