Unplugged--"BLACK"....SUN!!

It has long been debated around here about the whole "sun" "star" line in Black....I have always been on the "sun" side of the argument and ALWAYS WILL! ;-)

After listening to this current version of unplugged, it has never been more apparent to me that ed says and it was ORIGINALLY written as SUN!!! It evolved into star over the years, but it was SUN from the onset!!!! DISCUSS!! ;-)

    Discuss? This is going to be a hard one.

    A sun is less beautiful than a star but you cant live without a sun. This means that if the lyrics 'sun' is used it shows that you cant live without that person, whereas 'star' would mean their beautiful to look at.

    If you listen to the remix of Black on Rearviewmirror, without all the reverb and Ed's voice boosted up it is clearly "Star" on the album.
