If I had to guess, I would say these will be "new" as well....Doubt they would give us something like that again from another release with all the HYPE...imho

I imagine they will be the RVM versions. Those were done by O'Brien and are exactly what the entire remixed album is supposed to be about. I can't imagine there being much need to tinker with them.
He might tweak them a bit, but I'm sure they'll pretty much be the same.

I disagree with you guys. I think the remixes of Alive and Black will be different. I listened to Once on myspace and it sounds different than the greatest hits version to me.
Definitely different. The tweaks that O'Brien did for RVM were just that...tweaks, and minor ones at that. Just a taste of what was to come I'd say. 'Once' & 'Porch' sound totally different from the two previous versions. I heard guitar parts in 'Porch' today I didn't even know were there!!!
