Anyone else excited about the new Dead Like Me movie?

one of the best shows ever! The new movie gets released on DVD today. I was kinda glad to see they were making a new movie, but with the slighly different cast I have my doubts until I see it. Mandy Patankin was the backbone of that show and now with Desmond from Lost filling his boots, who knows! I'll probably head out tomorrow and buy it.

    Caught the show in rerun and loved it. Didn't realize they were making a movie. Thanks for the heads up!

    My sister-in-law caught the movie on TV, I guess, and she wasn't overly impressed... But no Rube is depressing. ;)

    No Rube is a huge loss, obviously. But if they're getting Eddie's stunt double to be his replacement, I guess they could've done a lot worse

    ok i saw it today and i liked it, granted it was different, but since so much time has passed since the end of the series it wasn't such a shock. the hardest thing to get used to wasn't so much no rube, it was the new daisy and no post its! but without giving any spoilers, the ending sort of left the possibilites open for anything. possibly the series coming back or more movies?! i hope!

    I was SO excited when it came on tv last month, i called and ordered the station right away.

    The movie was...okay. I wasn't a big fan of the new Daisy at all. The storyline between George and her sister was the best part, in my opinion....then again, that was always my favorite part.
