Should be banned from the internet. Especially on news sites & youtube. I feel myself getting dumber when I read most of them. Of course I want to post and call people out, but then I'd be part of the problem.

    I gotta agree with you. I try to avoid reading them. It's just an exercise in frustration and futility. Mostly name-calling and insults. :cry:

    there are a lot of truly miserable, lonely people in this world.

    and the internet is the perfect place for these angry introverts
    to vent their frustrations with the world.

    all the contraptions and electronic gizmos we have created
    have definitely made people dumber, at alarming rate. no question about it.

    yeah i ignore the comments on videos and such. only time i look at comments are if i'm looking up reviews for a restaurant or something. unless i'm looking for an opinion, i ignore all that crap.

    I think there should be a form of IQ-based, eternally self-generating CAPTCHA-esque puzzle installed on these sites. If you can't think, you shouldn't be allowed to post. I've never been a fan of your first amendment, either, though. :lol:

    I get such a kick out of YouTube comments... some are just hysterical. I really appreciate the "eat shit and die!" type of responses. I'll even leave comments on vids once in awhile.The best response I ever got back to one was when a guy called me "spudboy". I clicked on his page and it said he was 53, which made it all the more amusing. I responded back with an answer to his comment, then mentioned that I was not a boy nor was I a potato... he must have checked my page because he actually apologized. :lol:
