I REALLY miss the salmon chowder in bread bowl at the chowder place in Pike Place markets. They really don't do chowder right here in Sydney. Not cold enough for people to think chowder.
CHOWDER!115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!0 -

the soup nazi has a shop right around the corner from my office, i've yet to try it tho. i rarely get lunch out, and while i have heard his soups are great - from other sources besides seinfeld
- they ARE quite pricey! perhaps some day i'll treat myself.
i DO have soup for lunch today, but simply a campbell's soup at hand chicken noodle. it's pretty good for a pre-made soup, and i buy the lower sodium version so not toooo ridiculous with the salt as most pre-mades are.Stay with me...

yes, i think you're right...but i don't think too many would know wtf i was talking about if i didn't refer to him as the soup nazi.and....that is unsurprising really. i find the best soups are home-made, and/or in sit-down restaurants. while i've had some PFG soups thru take-out, very few ever compare to the others mentioned.
anf i see you are a french onion lova as well.......sooooooooooooo yummy!Stay with me...

well ohhh-la-la!
haha. i LOVE it! whenever we try a new restaurant that carries it, ALWAYS have to try it! i DID actually have it in paris....and yea...not so great. ha. somehow i don't really think 'french onion soup' is, necessarily, 'french'...perhaps along the lines of french fries? :P in any case, it is soooo awesome! so indeed, if i am ever in that area tho fuck if i know why i ever would be :? - i will be sure to try! a new place walking distance from home in fact, while certainly not THE best i've ever had...i'm really quite liking/enjoying, so my new fave, for now.......
and there is this fantastic american-indonesian restaurant close to home......FANTASTIC soups! truly! no french onion...but i've had their thai hot lemongrass & shrimp soup - UNREAL! and my sister tells me to try their newest menu, carrot & ginger soup. somehow those asian soups are always so damn fantastic, and so many SPICY!Stay with me...
