i think it would be funny if all those "die hard" cub fans started blaming Eddie for this year's choking. I can't get enough of seeing the cubs in the dugout as the sweep was official..HAHAHAHAH

I've seen all the teams, and the Cubs are the same
When you're born in Chi-town, you know that you're fucked
Once in the playoffs, the Cubs always sucked

100 years down, they've always been lame
2008, another season down the drain
One man saw them win, and thats John McCain

Why bother winning, the people always come
VIP's, fair-weathered fans and the bleacher bums
"Holy Cow" was always their cheer
Wrigleyville's full, as long as there's beer

Is the ivy really magic, covering that old scoreboard
When Dempster and Big Z completely got gored
All this talk of "our year", frankly I got bored
Nah, there's no way they go all the way, Nah , no way they go all the way,

That the Cubs fans clamoured to play in their rooms

But choking to L.A. , what happened Sweet Lou
Shroud up this season, in a casket and hearse
The whole world now knows, that the Cubs are cursed

Losing is tradition, for the old and the new
Crying in the fall, is the real Cubbie blue
Just wait til next year!, is the battle cry
The lovable losers just gave out a sigh

How many generations, will pass in the night
As the Cubs play all season, then blow the playoff plight
I'll look to the sky and know I was right...
