Which place for tickets are better?

I just joined the fan club in october and my number is 424xxx, and i was just wondering should i get tickets for the next tour through 10c or ticketmaster? Does 10c really have all the best seats in the house?

    Went to 7 shows last tour with mostly 10c tickets with other members. Estimating here but each 10,xxx is a row. Under 100xxx first 10 rows, above 100xxx # 10-20th row & so on. With your # around 42nd row. I was at the last boston show with someone with a 410xxx # and was in the 40th row. I'd buy the 10c ticket,(I won the lottery in Tampa, 1st row!)then try TM, if something comes up closer then 40th its than up to you to buy, you will always be able to sell the further tickets.

    when you buy tickets from 10c, do you find out where you will be seated when you get them or do you have to wait til the show?

    you find out where your seats are when you pick up your tickets the day of the show....

    try for 10club tickets first.....

    and if you get shut out....

    then try for ticketmaster...............

    If you purchase through the Ten Club you always have a chance of hitting the lottery (assuming they do it again). My number is 181xxx and although I usually get pretty good seats I hit the lottery for MSG 2 last year and ended up sitting in the ninth row. If you purchase through Ticket Master you'll never have that chance.

    Our number is in the 300,000's. We went to 5 shows last summer. We got 10C for 2 of them and they weren't the best seats, but they were the better than the Ticketmaster seats we were able to secure. With exception to the seats we got behind the stage at MSG. I always recommended sitting behind the stage--some of our favorite shows we have been back there.

    So I would say go for 10C. However depending on where you live, 10C tickets aren't even a sure thing. We couldn't get MSG. PJ ticket sale days are always extremely stressful! But well worth it! :mrgreen:

    So 10c runs out of tickets? So the day they start selling tickets you gotta be there to buy them or you get shut out?

    It depends on where you live. Some shows are available the day after. BUT they can only get so many, because the arena also has to save some for the General Public sale.

    Yes. A second after tix go on sale, you will probably see "Temporarily OUT OF STOCK", or "SOLD OUT" BUT KEEP REFRESHING!

    Good thing I live in Tennessee and don't plan on making the trip to any of the big big areas of pearl jam fans like Seattle, Boston or New York. I plan on staying in the southeast and maybe a trip to Chicago.

    Yes, I did, I didn't make it into the pit because I wasn't willing to stand for 5 hours to get in there, but I made it up to the fence in the main area, and was on mike's side almost dead center. Closest thing to a religious experience I have ever experienced. I might just have to hope somebody needs somebody to go with them to pearl jam show that has a lower ten club number than me.

    A member looking to take another member. Ya gotta look at it this way, its hard to find friend who LOVE PJ like we do, and 10c does not allow the purchase of single tix, so they buy two and sell it to a fellow jammer.

    Good thing my friend who I brought to both MSG's turned out to like them.

    I would love for that happen for me to find somebody selling a good seat to the concert in the southeast. I really got into pearl jam last year and I have started buying posters off ebay and I wanna follow them around the southeast.

    I have never gotten shut out from Ten Club tickets. I've scored every time and have always been more than pleased with my seats.

    I went to Mansfield I last year and got tickets off TM.com. I got shut out of the pre-sale and was bummed out. It dawned on me like a week after tix went on sale to the GP that I could try TM. I ended up sitting last row of the seated section, center. It was pissah cause the view of the stage wasn't bad, and all I had to do was hop over the back of my seat and I was in the walkway. Easy access to bathrooms and $8 beers (fuckers :twisted: )
    All and all it was a great experience and will hopefully get 10c seats for the next tour.

    I've had pretty good luck too. Only time I got shut out was MSG 2, but my girlfriend managed to score a pair with her shitty 412XXX number ... and then she hit the lottery and we ended up 2nd row! :mrgreen: So I can't complain.

    I've been very close to getting shut out a few times though - Cleveland 06 was a tough one as was the Europe '07 debacle. Somehow I managed to score London and Dussseldorf tickets hours after the presale (and about 3 site crashes).

    i've only been successful once getting tickets through the 10 club sales,
    although i've tried, diligently, many times.

    I always get my tickets through Ticketmaster.

    My # is in the 400,000 so there is no way I am going to get a good seat through the Ten Club although I will try the next time Pearl Jam comes to Boston.

    Does anyone know about how many people "hit the lottery" and get a good seat for each show? Do they only pick one fan club member or is it multiple people? Just curious if I should continue the ticketmaster route or give it a shot with the Ten Club. Thanks!

    It's only for fan club members and it's rows 1-2 & 9-10
    So how ever many seats are in those rows in a particular venue that's how many win.

    I haven't heard anything about whether they're going to do it next tour.
