When PJ does a "Historic Show"...I think 2 be qualified for a show of that level there has 2 be at least 30 songs played....So, would Arc or Wasted Reprise be counted as a song?

yes, with that being said, there are some pretty historic shows in the bands past that did not have 30 songs. does that mean none of the earler shows are "historic" ?

ya' may have to revise your rules here. : )

i cant remember the date, but it was early, the show in the park where a basket ball made it up on stage. watch the vid for that, that was historic in my eyes.

Its quality not quantity...Just my two cents. Wasted Reprise is a really nice segue, but still gets counted as a song.
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

quality more so than quantity, but there are some historic long shows...
state college, and mansfield 3 in 03
they are probably the longest shows which are also pretty historic!
    2003 - Sydney x3,
    2006 - Reading Festival,
2007 - Katowice, London, Nijmegen, Rock Werchter,
    2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,
    2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,
2010 - I watched it go to fire!
    2011 - EV Brisbane x3, Newcastle, Sydney x3,
    2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,
    2014 - Sydney, EV Sydney x3

I hear ya on the quality. But, I saw a quality 20 song PJ set opening for Petty. I so would want to hear another 13 tunes instead.

    right agreed.
    quality not quantity.

And if you want to look at it further,
the reason a show like State College '03 was "historic", imho, having been there and in the thick of it, was Fan\Band Interaction, NOT LENGTH.

In fact, if you just looked at the setlist alone, again imho, State College was a subpar show ...

... however, in terms of the un-nameable quality that existed between the band and the fans that night ... it was pure magic.

But again, it had nothing to do with the length, except maybe in so much as it contributed to eddie's "state of mind" (if you catch my drift, 2 bottles, ahem) ...
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

that would get under my skin a bit now, but as far as historic shows go, some of the best were 20 songs shows back around the second or third album.

but yeah, it would kinda be bothersome to actually see the band now, and get only 20 songs.
