EAC and FLAC (ripping and creating help)

I'm trying to follow these directions but it's not working.

Everytime I rip, it rips as WAVE and not FLAC. I want to make FLACs!

Also in that link, it reads:
Note: The green portion is where you would change the compression level or add settings for the FLAC encoder. What is that?

I have the EAC program and FLACfront already.

Basically, my question is how do I make FLACs?
I know how to play and burn them cuz I'm leecher :oops: but creating them is driving me nuts here!

I understand that you awnt to do it directly, but instead of banging your head, If you get a Wav, why don't you just then make a flac out of it (with Flac frontend, or whatever converter you like really)
simple and won't really take any longer anyway.

Thanks, that is the only way to do it(which I already knew).

I was trying to figure an easier route but you can't. I'll just have to delete the WAVs and keep the FLAC folders.

It really shouldn't. Maybe set a lower upload limit? something like 80% of your capacity.
