This fellow is really interesting.
Another one of these predictor types, and this one is a radical social activist as well.

Max Keiser on the Dollar, Revolution, Crisis Generally

He gets in to a bit of analysis on why guys like Peter Schiff and Jim Rogers (both mentioned by name) were dead wrong about the dollar last year, but goes on to explain that there is no fundamental reason for the dollar to be maintaining its current health.

He outright proclaims that Americans should be looking for a new revolution, and a new Declaration of Independence ... that this is the only hope, the only way to reclaim the land for the people. I think he's on to something (i think they are all on to somethin -- Celente, Schiff, Rogers, Keiser, Paul, Jones, &c &c &c) ...

anywho.
sometimes i wonder how many of the folks i know and love would have found themselves as loyalists and supporters of the crown during the American Revolution. If this were then, i'd put us at early-mid 1774. Anyone seeing the writing on the wall yet, or is this all still strange scary fearmonger stuff still?
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Loyalists... Never thought of it that way. I guess it's because they didn't have Kool-Aid back then :)

it about motivation. one more for the lazy americans. people in the states are too complacent, too indoctrinated...but I believe we need to keep trying. I agree with you dirfiting, mostly, but am motivated differently . it comes down to taxation without representation. foreign policy. we spend more on weapons than the next 27 countries combined.

so the US spends more on weapons than China, russia, and all of europe COMBINED. that to me is a crime. especially considering how those weapons are used.
