No Code Vinyl!!!
Well I finally got my hands on it today.. I hung out with a guy(friend of a friend) about a week ago when a bunch of us took my other friend out for his baby shower(yes I know that sounds odd but all the girls where doing it so we decided to do a man one). Anyway, we started drinking at about noon on Saturday and at about 7pm I got into a conversation with this other guy about music, bands blah blah... Well he comes out and tells me that he has No Code on vinyl that he bought when it first came out and he never listened to it. So I of course get on his case about that and tell him that I listen to vinyl and it sounds way better than cd/mp3 etc.. So I told him that I was looking to get No Code and that it was one of those I can never really obtain as it cost to much(of course if I would stop buying posters I would be fine).
So anyway. he tells me that he will let me have his copy as he never listened to it and doesn't intend to get a record player. I blew him off at that point saying noway why would you give it up and all that(but I was thinking to myself don't blow this). I mean I never really thought that I was going to get this from him, we had been drinking for a good 10/11 hours before we called it quits. Well today my other buddy stops at my house and hand delivers it to me. Oh I forgot to mention, it was free :shock: of charge. He didn't want a dime for it.
So needless to say, my afternoon/evening has been spent listening to it and flipping over all the polaroids etc.. So thats my story.
I will now have to pay this forward.

But seriously, a dude's baby shower?
yeah I know, it was my buddies idea whos having the kids, we cut him some slack because hes having twins.
I was told to be at a bar so we could bar hop while all the women did the shower thing. We had no shower gifts unless you call cigars and booze shower gifts.
