The Cameron Crowe article was great. I love how he contrasted Dave's attitude against Eddie's with regard to the recording studio. It must've been tough to be in the bad during the recording of Vs and Crowe did a nice job of capturing the different dynamics among its members. He wrote it as a fan for other fans, which to me makes it a classic. The newer article doesn't feel as reverential IMO.

Not to knock the guy that wrote the 2006 article...but I think the reason why Cameron Crowe wrote the better article is simply because he is "Cameron Crowe".

When it comes to Rock Journalisim, Cameron is in a league of his own.
