any chance PJ would give fans a taste of their upcoming album on the PJ youtube channel? I was very impressed that David Gray shared the creative experience with his fans.

Santos would never allow that. He'd be like "Sorry, Ed, it's who I am" and yank it.
I smile, but who am I kidding...

It may be cool for the fans and all, but I think it would be really annoying for the band to have someone filming them while they create an album.

Of Course that's pretty much what that whole "Single Video Theory" thing was. However, the big difference was...all the "Yeild" songs were already written ahead of time. The film was Pearl Jam more or less just rehearsing the songs live on camera rather than a film about them writing songs from scratch.

I always think back to the Beatles film of "Let It Be" as a perfect example of how filming and documenting the recording process can end up blowing up in your face.

I'd rather the band finish the album at their own pace, no cameras, no film, just the band all by themselves with Brendon with their lab coats, creating weird shit in their science labs.

Whenever or however long it takes for them to emerge and present us with the material...is cool by me.

Just as long as they keep making records.
