Will You Help Me With My Next Film? ...a request from Michael Moore
February 11, 2009
Friends,
I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know "the real deal" about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear. I am humbly asking you for a moment of courage, to be a hero and help me expose the biggest swindle in American history.
All correspondence with me will be kept confidential. Your identity will be protected and you will decide to what extent you wish to participate in telling the greatest crime story ever told.
The important thing here is for you to step up as an American and do your duty of shedding some light on this financial collapse. A few good people have already come forward, which leads me to believe there are many more of you out there who know what's going on. Here's your chance to let your fellow citizens in on the truth.
If you have any info that would help, please contact me at my private email address: bailout@michaelmoore.com.
For the rest of you on my email list who don't work in the financial industry, you're probably wondering, "What the heck is this all about? I thought he said he was making a romantic comedy!"
Well, I just can't say much right now. I'm sure you can understand why. One thing I can tell you is that you're gonna like this movie when I'm done with it. Oh, yeah...
So, again, if you work for a bank, a brokerage firm or an insurance company -- or if you have seen things or heard things that you believe the American people have a right to know -- please contact me at bailout@michaelmoore.com.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Yours,
Michael Moore

My response to Michael:
Michael,
To understand the problem of the bailouts, you have to understand where all the money for these programs is coming from: The Federal Reserve Bank.
You must expose the Federal Reserve System in your next film. They are the reason that these bailouts are even allowed to take place-- They are the enabler of the out-of-control spending that takes place every day by our federal government. The Federal Reserve System is completely unconstitutional-- only Congress has "the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof," as stated in Article I, Section 8, nowhere does it state that they can delegate this responsibility to anyone else, namely A BANK. That's right, they are a private for-profit corporation, that is no more federal than Federal Express. Through their control of the "boom and bust cycle," they have devalued our currency 98% since they became in charge of our money supply in 1913, imposing the vicious hidden tax of inflation upon the people of this great nation... This is taxation WITHOUT representation, seeing as how we cannot elect the members of the Fed, and they answer to NO branch of government. The fact of the matter is, they do not need a "bailout bill" to inject billions of dollars into the economy, or retract that much. They can do it whenever they want, without the approval of Congress or the President. Talk about unchecked power! They are never audited. They create money out of thin air, which again, destroys and devalues our currency-- Every dollar this bank creates gets paid back to them with interest, being that the money is dealt out as a loan to the recipient. The biggest recipient of loans from the Fed: our federal government, and the loans to the federal government get paid back through our tax money! We pay interest on our own money, and since every dollar is created out of debt, there is never enough dollars in circulation to repay the debt. That's right, as long as this system exists, we are in a perpetual state of GROWING DEBT-- and to who? Bankers. The Fed is actually owned by private, foreign interests (The House of Rothschild), along with the Rockefellers, JP Morgan-Chase, Bank of America, etc...
So as long as this institution is allowed to exist, politicians can push for all the money they need, without directly raising our taxes-- they just add the money spent to our national debt. This is debt paid back with interest to central bankers here, and abroad. As other countries lose interest in lending us money (realizing that we will never pay them back) there will only be one place left to go: THE FED... Sadly, we rely on them too much already.
Need money for a war? Ask the Fed.
Welfare? The Fed.
Bailouts of banks who create money out of thin air, and therefore make terrible loans, yet have really lost nothing on bad loans (since the money was created out of thin air to begin with), but need to recoup these losses from the American taxpayer to pay for the upkeep on their 20,000 sq. ft. mansions? The Fed.
If we are going to have a fiat system of money (which is still a bad idea-- I would prefer a gold and silver backed currency), why not just make it interest free? Get rid of the Fed, and all money printed by the government will not have debt attached to it. If we ever decide to stop spending money on running a foreign empire, you would see our debt start to shrink... If we decided to BONE THE FED for the money that we "owe" them, (since they have no REAL authority, or physical power without the help of the government), I bet our national debt would be cut in half. Of course, you can't expect them to go down without a fight-- They own enough stock in everything that they could probably try and stage an economic coup. However, ridding ourselves of this system would require an informed public, who would know better than to panic. If this were to happen, we'd see it coming, and their 'last stand' would be worthless.
But it is this very system that encourages insane government spending, and rewards huge corporations. Take war as an example: Who profits? Companies like Halliburton, Lockheed Martin, etc... Why do they profit? Because they can-- money grows on trees in the backyard of the Fed-- money for no-bid contracts, that is. Is there any real wonder as to why we are perpetually at war? It's the biggest business going!
Anwyay, I do not work on Wall Street. I'm just another American who has woken up to the biggest scam ever perpetrated on us.
You reach a lot of people, Michael-- especially those on the "left." I just read yesterday, that Ron Paul is writing another book that is sure to be a best-seller, due out this summer, tentatively called, "End the Fed." Between the both of your efforts, the message will be heard loud and clear by the people who will fall greatest victim to our debt: The young people of America. Fortunately, we are becoming aware, and our distaste for the current system is at an all time high, and real change is near. I can see it.
Need a title for the movie? You can use the same title I'm using for a song I'm writing, "Fed Up? Fed Down!" I've heard others use the phrase, "Grand theft America." If it hasn't already earned itself some sort of copyright or trademark-- that might be a good one as well.
Anyway, I hope you read this. I hope the outpouring of support to expose the Fed finds you well. This is truly the head of the beast... help us take the Fed down!

Glad you liked it. I'm looking forward to April 25th, when there will be another End the Fed Rally in all 39 US cities where there are Federal Reserve Banks. We made the news in 3 or 4 of them last time: http://www.endthefed.us
-- and there were only about 200 of us at the End the Fed NYC protest. It should also be noted it was on November 22nd, and it was FREEZING outside downtown. I think the one in April is going to have at least 5 times the amount of people, as a lot more people are aware of this problem. The current crisis has people searching for answers, and a lot of them are following the money right back to the central bank. At the protest in November, it was truly shocking to see how many people were actually stopped dead in their tracks reading the literature that was being passed out. Anyone who's ever been to the city knows how much shit gets handed to you on the street, and how quickly those little flyers find the garbage can, and sometimes the ground.
Also, the weather is a factor to attract the more fairweather (pun intended?) supporters of this movement. If we get a nice day on Saturday, April 25th, there should be a nice sized angry mob in 39 cities waking people up.
